Year running grand sonnerie weight driven clock by W. Schalon of Pettau, C. 1870. Striking on bells, upside down time train with rear mounted outside 60 tooth escapement. Hour hand has the date 1870 in the design. Temperature compensated pendulum. Transitional style 100" floor standing case now currently being restored. Will update photos of complete clock when finished.
Gilded bronze skeletonized laterndluhr by Fertbauer, C. 1810. Overall height 67". Seconds beating, knife edge suspension riding on a gimbal. The gimbal is held by two L shaped brackets through the front plate of the movement, typical Fertbauer design, sweep seconds with sub dials of minutes, hours, and date.
A 66" flame mahogany cased technical clock showing time, date, week, month, moon phases, sunrise, sunset, and difference between siderial and mean time on the center golden hand. Running duration 8 weeks.
The pendulum is a Ferdinand Berthoud design (Fr. 1790) with adjustable compensation accomplished by the side mounted thumb screw. Knife edge suspension. Grundled bezel fire gilted.
